Proposal-Fashion
The photography I will be doing will look like fashion photography because it will show all of the certain part of the fashion it is trying to portray, be that the outfit or the make-up, to the full extent. I will be doing this by showing off the outfit in bizarre or unusual positions and the use of props. The background, however, will remain white to give of the feeling of a photo-shoot and to signify the model as the most important part of the photograph.
The intended audience for my fashion project will be for females of all sizes. To show this I will use a model with a rectangle body shape and a model with an apple body shape. The intended age group will be people aged 16-21 as this age group are just leaving their education and entering the world so they care about how they dress, however still have that slight bit of child-like immaturity.
I will be taking between 15-17 photographs and will be using 4 of them in my final photography. Two of these photographs will focus on the clothes the model's are wearing whilst the other two will focus on the model themselves. The last two will be taken as a close up or a mid-shot.
To take these photographs I will hire a photography studio for an hour, this will cost me £20. I then have to pay for travel there and back for my model's, this will cost me £4 per model. I will then have to get my final photographs printed out for an exhibit being held at the college, the price for the printing can vary depending on where I go. The deadline for the photography will be Friday 14th November so that the exhibit can be held afterward.
Proposal-Night Photography
The photography I will be doing will look like night photography because it will show the bright lights of Blackpool Illuminations with a dark-night background. I will do this by going out very late at night so that the lights are naturally brighter than the background. In some of the photographs I will have a low shutter speed to capture the lights moving.
The intended audience for my night photography will be both male and females who love the Blackpool Illuminations. The intended age group will be all ages since the bright lights will attract to the younger ages and the illuminations themselves will attract the older ages.
I will be taking between 53-56 photographs and will be using 6 of them in my final photography. Two of the photographs will be of a theatre show and thew other four will be of the illuminations. These last shots will be taken in many different ways to try and get all the different angles to choose one that looks best.
To take these photographs I will have to go to Blackpool to get to the Illuminations. This will probably cost me about £50 petrol money. I then have to get my final photography printed out for an exhibit being held at the college, the price for the printing can vary depending on where I go. Proposal-Documentary
The photography I will be doing will look like documentary photography because it will be a range of photographs that will tell a story, similar to journalism photography that portray the news, except it is news of my own choice. I will be doing this by taking photographs of everything important that happens at the animal shelter and the process that they go through every day.
The intended audience for my documentary project will be male and females who have a passion for animals. The intended age group will be 16-41 since the photographs could not only persuade people to adopt an animal but to also volunteer here. Sixteen is the youngest age they allow to volunteer. To show this I will have photographs of the process the volunteers have to go through everyday to make the pens clean.
I will be taking between 54-58 photographs and will be using 6 of them in my final photography. Two of the final photographs will be a before and after shot of a cat's cage, the other four will focus of the different ways of portraying the animals. These last shots will be taken as a close-up to capture the details of the animals.
To take these photographs I will have to request a time slot that I can come into Tameside Animal Shelter and take the photographs. For this I would have to pay for travel there and back which will be £4. I then have to get my final photographs printed out for an exhibit being held at the college, the price for the printing can vary depending on where I go. Documentary Recces
Recces are required because they give the needed information of that area that you will need. For example, What equipment will work best for shooting there, what type of lighting works best in this area, what sound equipment will be needed and what power source will be used. These are the Recces for my Documentary Photography.
Documentary Actor Release Forms
Actor Release Forms are required for any media production. They are the proof that you have the permission from the people involved that they want to be involved. These are my Actor Release Forms for the people involved in my Documentary Photography.
